WARNING: If you have a weak stomach do not read.

Warning; What I am about to share with you is totally gross! Its really bad.

Tonight I got home from working an expo late. Our house stunk sooo bad. I thought it was Adam's diaper, nope. Something in the fridge? Nope. Maybe some crazy funk outside had creeped in.

So I went along my merry way until I opened up our washing machine and was hit with the full force of something very foul. I have a front loader washing machine. It has a fold where water collects and you have to wipe it out. I do it quite regularly so I was a little puzzled as to why it was stinking. But I grabbed a paper towel and in the dark wiped out the trap. It was only after I turned on the light when I was what was on the paper towel from the trap.

A dead decaying stinking earthworm! How on earth did an earthworm get inside my washing machine. I am so grossed out. But worse my mind is racing with the possibilities. Maybe I have an earthworm colony in my pipes. Maybe Adam picked it up and put it in. Maybe it hitchhiked on some clothes...GROSS!

I am running my washing machine with baking soda in it. Hopefully that will get the smell and germies out. I am going to run bleach in it next. Totally disgusting. I have no more words for it but gross!

Any thoughts on how the earthworm got in my dryer?

Visit from Nana & Papa

Mike's Parents, Cathy and Mike came to visit over Conference. It was such a blast to have them. Adam was so excited to pick them up from the airport he kept declaring every car to be Nana and Papa. We enjoyed them so much. Adam adored all the love and attention. We were all spoiled with them here. Some highlights include going to the park for a picnic lunch, going to the Garden at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and Sweet Tomatoes for my birthday, Papa and Mike fixing our water heater after a week of no hot water, Papa fixing everything around the house, watching conference, going to Sweet Tomatoes, crafts, crafts, and more crafts, and just enjoying every minute of having them here. Papa, Adam, Me, and Nana at the park. Mike was taking the picture.
Mike Jr. and Mike Sr. pounding in my raspberry posts.

Adam helping Papa hang my pantry door. Thanks Papa!
Aspen with her dressed up Zia. We made diapers, a tutu and skirts for Zia (Aspen's fav doll) for Aspen's birthday. Cathy did all the hard labor while I supervised. LOL Thanks Cathy for all your work. You can find the doll diaper pattern here. Papa "watching" conference

The great glasses Mike Sr. got to celebrate my birthday (Do you see my new haircut?)

Adam watching the "show" (the computer screen is actually bigger than our tv)

Thanks Nana and Papa for everything. It was such a joy to have you here!
