Mike's New Job & Valenties Shirts

Mike starts his new job today. I am very excited because his commute goes from 1 hour to 10 minutes! Adam woke up today and Mike was still here so Adam asked him if we were going to church. Mike is now working as an accountant for a Consulting firm called Zenger Folkman. Mike is really excited because the people seem so nice.
Mike put in his notice at Summit on Jan 21 without any job prospects. The man has guts. After a lot of interviews Mike chose this one. I am really proud of him. He is such a hard worker. Funny side note. Yesterday was his last day at Summit and Mike stayed until 11pm to get the job done. Good for you honey! I love you!
While Mike was slaving his last day away, Brittani and I were up to some fun. She came over with Bee-Bah(Lindsay) and while Bee-bah and Adam played *cough*fought we had a blast creating.

Poor Neglected Blog

Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! and everything else I missed :) Here is an update of the last 3 months (slacker I know)

November:
We had an expo every single week. Life got really hectic, but it was busy and good. Adam charmed everyone walking around the expos in his little tie. So cute! I would have awesome pictures to share, but my stupid computer deleted them. I accidentally left the card in and shut down. I guess it deletes everything on it.

December:
It was a whilrwind.
Some highlights were:

Well thats about it. This weekend we have a show. Its the first after November's craziness. I am having flashbacks :). Other than that I am just having a great time playing with Adam, cleaning the house and what not. I know my life is super exciting!

Totally Overwhelmed

Sorry about the lack of blogging. Our family is doing well and I have a lot to tell you about. I am just really overwhelmed right now. When I have a spare sec I will fill you in on Adam's birthday, my in-laws visit, new tie styles, and all our other adventures.
For now, we wish you a Merry Christmas and send our love and thoughts.

Snow!

It snowed here. Its the first time the snow has actually stuck for a period of time this year. Adam LOVED it! I loved its because he loved it :). Here are some pictures of his cuteness.


Don't you love that snow suit! It reminds me of a Christmas Story "I can't put my arms down." He looks so cute and fat.

I asked Adam which one he wanted to wear and he chose the skunk. So we put the skunk on him for our Ward Party and we will use the monkey tonight.

Doing Chores

I love this phase Adam is going through. Every chore I do, he wants to do. He loves to sweep, mop, do dishes. Can't this just stay forever :)

Congratulations to Sarah!

Sarah had a precious little girl yesterday. Everyone can bow down in awe to that girl, she endured 34 hours of labor NATURALLY! That includes 12 hours of hard transition labor. When she was dilated to a 9 1/2 she wasn't effaced yet, so she couldn't get the baby out! She finally took the epidural (about 24 hours later than I would have) and rested for a little while.
All I can say is WOW!!! Good work Sarah. Anyone who can endure that kind of labor has my respect.

I can't wait to hug and love sweet little Kaelynn, she is going to be beautiful like her mother.

Handsome Boys and Hair Cuts!

Do you like their hair? I cut it. Both of them. Yup I am a regular hair stylist. Mikes only took an hour :). I am getting good LOL.
Oh and also, please notice Adam's shirt. Its from his jammies. I tried to get him dressed today, but he only wanted his P.J. shirt. I have to pick my battles.

A Christmas Quiet Book!?! How cute is that

Have you seen these? I am totally wanting one of these. Adam would love it for church. Also, a Halloween countdown, darling idea. LeAnne was an old college rommate and now she is starting her own little business! You can head on over to her etsy shop or her blog and check them out. They are sooo cute!

Swimming Lessons

We did swimming lessons at the beginning of August (I know, I am so on top of posting). Adam did great! He jumps off the pool by himself, blows bubbles, kicks, and goes off the kiddie waterslide all by himself. He is a regular little water bug! We took the lessons with Brittani, Aspen, Rex, Lindsay, and Matthew. Aspen had her own class and Matthew came to help with Britt's kids. We had a blast. About 3 days into our lessons Rex looked over and finally realized we were in the class with him. Funny kid.

I made this towel robe for swimming lessons. I got directions from the sewmamsew blog. You can check it out here Its the easiest thing to do! I also learned how to applique from that same site. You cant see it in the pics, but the robe has a green seahorse on it. Adam LOVES it! He calls it his cozy and wont take it off. It was wonderful for swimming lessons. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pictures and how about a promise to post more than just being sick. LOL
