Being a dad, I take great pleasure in passing wisdom and knowledge on to my son. Perhaps I can give him a bedrock of logic and reason with which to build his thoughts and his life.
So Adam and I were watching Despicable Me and he comes in with a handful of pretzels. "Daddy," he says, "will you do me a favor?"
"Of course, bud, what is it?"
"Will you help me put the pretzels into the TV for the minions?"
With a cute little guy standing there sincerely asking for help, the image of sticking pretzels into the monitor and seeing the minions crunching on them immediately played in my mind. I'm pretty sure Willy Wonka could do it.......but like I was saying, wisdom and knowledge, yada yada yada, "Oh, uh, Adam.....the minions are cartoons......they are not real, they are just graphics and sounds played from the DVD......plus, you can not put snacks into the TV and it would be a very bad idea to even try....... but it is very thoughtful of you to want to share with them, buddy."
He was very disappointed.
Nice! I did it.
If that's not a bedrock of logic and reason, I don't know what is.

Love it! I think your explanation is funnier than him wanting to put the pretzels in the tv. Too cute!
It was made for your enjoyment. I seriously envisioned Willy Wonka zapping Mike TV when Adam asked me for help.
Love it hon! Thanks for taking the hard conversations. :)
That was good, son. Very good!
So, I hope you don't find pretzels inserted in your system!
